Bob Wikstrom has a background in the Music Business from being a performing artist to songwriter to music publisher to record label owner. He also has a professional background in radio and television broadcasting working as an on-air personality as well as station ownership. He currently is owner of the Speech Resource Company which produces audio books and DVDs featuring speeches by historical icons. He previous owned Jerden Records that featured Pacific Northwest Artists from the 60’s and 70’s. He now has Desert Diamond Records.

In the 1960s Bob played with The Pageboys, a band out of the Seattle area. They had a hit record in 1965 named “Our Love” that got local and regional attention. It was from that band that he hooked up with Glen Campbell and toured with him for a time. Uncle Sam showed up and the Pageboys were no longer. After a stint in the military, Wikstrom entered the broadcasting business as an on-air DJ for radio stations in and around Seattle. Went under the air-name “Bob Summers”. Spent 20+ years in radio and television – from on-air to programming, management and also owned a couple of stations. During that time he went back to playing music, joining a Seattle band named Charlie & The Tunas before breaking out and starting his own band called (wait for it) “Big Dog Revue”, playing in clubs, bars, casinos and events in the Pacific Northwest. Moved to PebbleCreek (Goodyear) Arizona and it wasn’t long before performing music again became a part of the plan. Wikstrom and fellow ‘Dog member Brian Wentz, also from the Seattle area, went on a search for band members in the area. After months of recruiting and rehearsing, The Big Dogs hit the stage. Bob plays keyboards (including a full Hammond B3 organ) and sings. When not performing, he enjoys playing golf and hosting gatherings at his house where most often friends end up around the piano drinking wine and singing. He and his wife, Gena, live in the Tuscany Falls neghborhood of PebbleCreek.
