Doug Harris began playing drums in elementary school and has thoroughly enjoyed the many opportunities that followed. Highlights have included playing in a four-piece group weekends for seven years in the Nebraska-Iowa area. After a move to Kansas City, he was part of a group that played together for over 25 years.
Additional opportunities have included playing contemporary Christian music with several visits to a Kansas State Prison and recovery programs. In addition to his extensive playing over the years, Doug continues to learn by watching and listening to the “experts” as well as attending drum clinics.
