
Jeff Buda plays tenor sax in the Big Dog Horn Section. Born in Bayonne, NJ, Jeff took private lessons on reed instruments starting at age 7. Went on to perform in various clubs and concerts in the New York City area. He performed in the East Room of the White House for President Nixon in 1969. In 1970 Jeff played with the Philadelphia Academy of Music with Eugene Ormandy conducting. He earned his BS and MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition to his music profession, Jeff followed a career in the Specialty Chemical Industry becoming CEO of Harwick Chemical Corporation, a leading national supplier to the rubber and plastics industry. He and his wife of 50 years moved to PebbleCreek in 2005. There he performed and Directed for a time in the PC Big Band in addition to orchestras such as Arizona Swing Kings and Livin’ Upbeat.
