Jim Ledford is down on the bottom end of the ‘Dogs with his funky bass playing. He grew up in Atlanta/Doraville, Georgia in a neighborhood full of aspiring rock stars, heavily influenced by the likes of the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Atlanta Rhythm Section. Joined the Navy and was stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. ”Besides my primary duties as a nuclear reactor operator, I was in the ship rock band that played in all the countries we visited.” After leaving the Navy and with kids grown up, Jim got into another band of mid-aged guys covering heavy rock, playing bars throughout Arizona. He’s also been playing in worship bands for the past 25 years.
